In 2008, Shemeika Howard-Dancy, a single mother of 3 in Richmond, VA wanted to earn extra income to provide for her family. Shemeika had the admiration of her peers for her attention to detail and a knack for caring for her home.

 

Using her talents, she started a detailed residential cleaning service. Shemeika's devotion to perfection became so in demand that within the first 6 months, she found herself expanding her kitchen-table company to one of Richmond's favorite local cleaning services, Shine From Above Cleaning Service.

 

Shortly after opening its first office Shemeika's mother, Claudette, and other family members joined to create a hard working team. After 6 years of hard work, Shemeika decided to take the company to new heights and added commercial cleaning to her business.
